Katie was a silly girl. She would often get a beating from her mother for making stupid mistakes but she never learnt from them.
One day, she went for a walk in the woods. When she grew tired, she sat down near a lake to eat a sandwich. After that she fell asleep.
When she woke up, it was very dark. She could not see her reflection in the water. And silly Katie thought that since she could not see herself, she was lost. Finally, after wandering around for some time, she reached home and knocked on the door and asked, “Is Katie inside?” A voice from inside said, “She must be in her bedroom.” Silly Katie thought that if Katie was inside then she must be someone else. So she went away and never returned.
