The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs. One pig built a house of straw while the second pig built his house with sticks. They built their houses very quickly and then sang and danced all day because they were lazy. The third little pig worked hard all day and built his house with bricks.

A big bad wolf saw the two little pigs while they danced and played and thought, “What juicy tender meals they will make!” He chased the two pigs and they ran and hid in their houses. The big bad wolf went to the first house and huffed and puffed and blew the house down in minutes. The frightened little pig ran to the second pig’s house that was made of sticks. The big bad wolf now came to this house and huffed and puffed and blew the house down in hardly any time. Now, the two little pigs were terrified and ran to the third pig’s house that was made of bricks.

The big bad wolf tried to huff and puff and blow the house down, but he could not. He kept trying for hours but the house was very strong and the little pigs were safe inside. He tried to enter through the chimney but the third little pig boiled a big pot of water and kept it below the chimney. The wolf fell into it and died.

The two little pigs now felt sorry for having been so lazy. They too built their houses with bricks and lived happily ever after.

  5. Build on a good foundation, even if it mean cutting ties with some foll. Don’t let your living be in vain, be able to stand, even if its alone.

  6. This is a really cool story and that is exactly what that wolf get trying to be so bad and the 2 pigs trying to be lazy this is a vlxute and cool little story!!!!

  7. This story is about hardwork and not so lazy and a new thing to learn for kids….. And also we should not be bad like the wolf of the three little pigs and I think it was a very nice story and we all should read more stories of this website only

    1. I’m agree with you but it’s not only for kids but also for adults. I love this story because of the things I learned from it. It’s about not being so lazy.

  8. Have not read this in years. Never realized the implicit bias in this story. Enjoying life does not make you lazy. Building with sticks and mud may be what is afforded or culturally relevant. Brick does not mean it was any better but is associated with more affluence. Trouble comes to brick houses too and more often than not those in brick houses find help from those in houses made of clay and sticks. Be careful what messages we are sending to our children. 9. The moral of the story is build your house on Christ which is a solid foundation and it requires work and spending intimate time with him and in his word or if you dont when the devil comes roaring in like a big bad wolf you are going to get blown away.

  10. Hello everybody, my name is Cristina , I am 13 years old and I am Brazilian .

  11. Moral of the story: People that look like they are doing “better” than you…like more money, fame and fortune at a young age…like 1 million followers on twitter, but no “real” friends in real life….While you’re working overtime for popcorn, and you don’t have 1 million twitter followers because you’re too busy being a loving, compassionate friend to all you come in contact with in real life…i.e spiritual development (the brick house)….This seems unfair…UNTIL THAT BIG BAD WOLF SHOWS UP!! (unexpected sickness, disaster and calamity)

  16. Pigs are UNDER-RATED/DIS-RESPECTED (Hope my Muslim friends remain my friends.). And the PIG has NOTHING to do with the connation of police authoritarianism here or worldwide.e, That’s much more a political/financial smokescreen. Read more about their habits. BTW–they are very smart.
