Once a cunning man saw a boy with a cake. He wanted to eat it and decided to play a trick on the little boy to take the cake away from him. He went to the boy and said, “Give the cake to me; I can make it look like the moon.” The boy was delighted with the idea and gave it to him. The man took a bite and the cake looked like a crescent moon.
Now the boy was not happy, so the man took another bite and made it into a half moon. The boy still complained that the moon was small.
The clever man said, “I can make it like a full moon, but the full moon can only appear after the old moon disappears.” He ate the whole cake and ran away, while the boy waited for the new moon to appear.
