Once a scientist went to Australia for the first time. There, he was amazed to see a kangaroo because he had never seen one before. He threw a stone at it and the kangaroo jumped away.
The scientist wanted to ask the guide about the animal but didn’t want to sound foolish and ignorant. So he thought for a while and then asked, “Are the grasslands in Australia very big?” The guide answered, “No, they are as big as they are in England and America.”
Then the scientist said, ” I think the grass that you purchase for your horses must be fifty feet tall.” The guide replied in surprise, “Not at all, it is only a few inches long.”
Then the scientist pointed towards the kangaroo and asked, “I was wondering about the unusual size of that grasshopper.” The guide had a good laugh.
