Once upon a time, in a small village nestled deep within a thick forest, there lived a young girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She was known for her bright red hooded cloak, which she wore whenever she ventured out into the woods. Little Red Riding Hood was a kind-hearted and curious child who loved her grandmother dearly.
One sunny morning, Little Red Riding Hood’s mother called her into the kitchen. “My dear, your grandmother is not feeling well today,” her mother said with concern. “I have prepared a basket of goodies for her. Would you be so kind as to take it to her cottage?”
Little Red Riding Hood’s eyes lit up with excitement. She loved visiting her grandmother and couldn’t wait to see her. “Of course, Mother! I will take the basket to Grandma right away,” she replied eagerly.
“But remember, my child,” her mother warned, “the woods can be dangerous. Do not talk to strangers and stay on the path until you reach your grandmother’s cottage.”
Little Red Riding Hood promised to obey her mother’s instructions and set off on her journey, skipping merrily along the winding forest path. The birds chirped and the flowers bloomed, adding to the enchanting atmosphere. Little did she know that a mischievous creature lurked in the shadows, watching her every move.
As Little Red Riding Hood made her way through the woods, she suddenly came across a peculiar sight. It was a wolf, tall and menacing, with sharp teeth and piercing eyes. The wolf approached her cautiously and spoke in a sly voice, “Where are you going, little girl?”
Startled but not wanting to break her promise, Little Red Riding Hood hesitated for a moment before answering, “To my grandma’s, Mr. Wolf!”
The Big Bad Wolf’s eyes gleamed with mischief as he realized an opportunity had presented itself. He quickly devised a wicked plan to deceive both Little Red Riding Hood and her unsuspecting grandmother.
With his cunning speed, the wolf dashed ahead of the little girl and reached Grandma’s cottage well before her. He knocked gently on the door, pretending to be Little Red Riding Hood. When Grandma opened the door, the wolf pounced on her, locking her up in the cupboard. Disguised in Grandma’s clothes and lying on her bed, he eagerly awaited Little Red Riding Hood’s arrival.
Meanwhile, Little Red Riding Hood continued her journey through the forest, humming a cheerful tune. As she approached her grandmother’s cottage, she noticed that something seemed off. The door was slightly ajar, and there was an unusual stillness in the air. Concerned, she cautiously entered the cottage and made her way to Grandma’s bedside.
“My! What big eyes you have, Grandma!” Little Red Riding Hood exclaimed, her voice filled with surprise and confusion.
“All the better to see you with, my dear,” the wolf replied, attempting to mimic Grandma’s frail voice.
Caught off guard by the wolf’s response, Little Red Riding Hood couldn’t help but notice something else peculiar. “My! What big ears you have, Grandma!” she remarked, growing increasingly suspicious.
“All the better to hear you with, my dear,” the wolf replied once again, struggling to maintain the facade.
Little Red Riding Hood’s intuition told her that something was terribly wrong. Taking a step back, she finally realized the truth. “What big teeth you have, Grandma!” she exclaimed, her voice trembling with fear.
The wolf, no longer able to contain his ravenous hunger, growled menacingly, “All the better to eat you with!” With those words, he lunged at the young girl, jaws wide open.
In that moment of terror, Little Red Riding Hood let out a piercing scream that echoed through the forest. The sound reached the ears
of a group of woodcutters who happened to be nearby. Without hesitation, they rushed to the cottage, following the desperate cries for help.
As the woodcutters burst through the door, they found the wolf in the act of attacking Little Red Riding Hood. Reacting swiftly, they grabbed their axes and fiercely fought the beast. With every swing, they aimed to protect the innocent girl and her beloved grandmother.
In the chaos of the battle, one of the woodcutters managed to unlock the cupboard, freeing Grandma from her confinement. Trembling but relieved, she hurriedly embraced Little Red Riding Hood, thanking the woodcutters for their bravery.
The Big Bad Wolf, now outnumbered and outmatched, realized that his wicked scheme had been foiled. He fled from the cottage, disappearing into the depths of the forest, never to be seen again.
With the wolf defeated, peace was restored to the cottage. Grandma and Little Red Riding Hood sat by the fire, comforting each other after the terrifying ordeal. They were grateful for the courageous woodcutters who had come to their rescue in the nick of time.
From that day forward, Little Red Riding Hood learned a valuable lesson about the importance of caution and heeding her mother’s advice. She understood the dangers that could lurk within the guise of strangers and the significance of staying on the right path.
The tale of Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf spread throughout the village and the surrounding towns, serving as a reminder to all of the importance of vigilance and the strength of unity. And so, the brave actions of the woodcutters and the resilience of Little Red Riding Hood became a cherished legend, inspiring generations to be cautious, brave, and compassionate in the face of danger.
The moral of the story “Little Red Riding Hood”
is to be cautious of strangers and to listen to the advice of trusted individuals. The tale emphasizes the importance of being aware of potential dangers and not easily trusting unfamiliar individuals.
Little Red Riding Hood’s mother warns her not to talk to strangers and to stay on the path while going to her grandmother’s cottage. However, Little Red Riding Hood’s innocence and trust lead her to engage in conversation with the Big Bad Wolf, ultimately putting herself and her grandmother in danger.
The moral of the story teaches us that it is crucial to be wary of those we do not know well, especially when they try to deceive us. Nice Story! My Favorite!
This story is lame
good story and i learned my lesson that never spoke to strangers.
yes
Who narrator ?
great
BOOOOOOOOO
This story I have to say is only so-so. I get that people want it to be short, I just wish it were slightly longer and less robotic sounding. I love the tail of Little Red, but the emotional war in Red’s heart is not present in this tail. Also, I think this story should involve a small amount more of the wolf’s jokester and hilariously snarky personality. If this short of a story is what is being read to children, that upsets me and my family in a moderate fashion.
only so-so. I would like it if you could see the snarky behavior of the wolf, perhaps by adding length. I am moderately disapointed for the children who get this read to them, as no personality can be found in the characters to connect them to the plot
Good point. If you like fairy tales you should also read land of stories
not a favorite- wheres the wolfs personality???
Moderately disapointed.
nice but needs more fun !
supper super mate 🙂

This is a very gentle story and friendly with kids.I just love Little red riding hood.
memang short.
Can I have a permission to copy down to my homework?
I am not good at eng :/ don’t mind.
Wolves don't talk and they don't eat humans unless they have illnesses like rabies. This story is completely stupid, ridiculous, insane and insulting to wolves. I won't let my kids read this if I were you. No offense to anyone.
But thanks for the story anyway. I'm doing a project on wolves and this is very useful as an example of the rumours humans have spread about wolves through the ages.
It's a "Fairy Tale" you idiot that teaches some a good lesson – "Children, don't talk to strangers"!!!!
well said jacquelynn, like get a grip Madeline Leung……. Thats like saying,,,,,, ”Wow, since when did those ‘3 Little Pigs’ get a degree in Architecture,??? Obviously 2 of them only went to a Community College and 1 of them was fortunate enough to go to a high end, Ivy League type of University. But even with the Big Bad Wolves ‘Expertise in Structural Demolition’, combined with his ‘strong lungs’ generating ‘extreme wind power’, the Big Bad Wolf had met his match when it came to the brick house. No matter how hard he tried, the Big Bad Wolf was unable to huff and puff and blow the house down.
gSo because of careful planning, and a good education, the brick house kept that little pig and his homies safe behind those strong concrete reinforced walls.” !!!
And for the Wolf, well he was carried away by paramedics in an ambulance after collapsing from an asthma attack from trying to blow so hard as to knock down them brick walls, he was then taken to hospital where he later died from complications due to over exerting his lungs.”
Moral of the story;,,,,,, careful planning and a good education is key to survival in life…. Oh ya, and also DONT SMOKE.!!!! LOL
you all are not cool no it rigth?
what if u r lost and u don't have a smart phone or a map? u've gotta ask someone! or maybe someone's feeling sick and they need your help? at least u've gotta have some response! if u don't talk to other people then the only people you'll know will be your relatives and u won't have any other friends! anyway, you're commenting about my comment and u don't even know me! I'm a stranger to u!
it also teaches people that wolves are evil and sly and greedy and cunning etc. which is absolutely the OPPOSITE of things
Madeline Leung What idiot parent leaves their toddler child to be lost. What did I do as a child without a smartphone in the 1950's??? Believe me, I'm one of the BIGGEST Animal ACTIVISTS in the area (Google me), I do not find the story offenseive to animals, and neither any big, well-know AR organization. Your an ahole
Lame
Nice 😀

Boring, suckish doesn’t even teach people about stranger danger. This story needs to be get rid off four ever for our sake
For someone who can’t even spell forever, I think you should sit back and look who’s talking.
Nice story and great for teaching kids not to talk to strangers.
and the wolf was only hungry. He isn't "bad". He's only trying to find something to eat. and according to the original Grimm version, Riding Hood is supposed to be eaten up by the wolf. This story tells kids that even if u talk to strangers, someone will come and save you. Which isn't always true.
what a very nice story! 🙂
Hated It
don’t be negative
CALM YOUR SELF!
Madeline Leung you seem pretty clueless, must be a cultural boundary

Nice for a reviews
The is not a correct synopsis of the story. The grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood were both eaten but survived when the huntsman cut open the wolfs gut and replaced them with stones which ultimately killed the wold. The grandmother was most assuredly NOT locked in a cupboard. Why did you change it?
Because this story is ultimately for kids making cutting open a wolf’s stomach not appropriate.
my kids love this story
